Barbara Nagode Ambroz
After finishing grammar school she studied Pedagogy and Romanic languages at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. In her youth she also finished seven years of Music school, playing the piano.
She is the initiator and author of the Cuban Experience Educational Program, documentary and the book with the title "Back to the roots".
The purpose of the project Cuban Experience was the research into authentic Cuban and Latin music and dance forms and their influence on competitive Latin-American dance styles.
Up until present, she has been teaching, lecturing and adjudicating dance competitions in fifty-six different countries on all five continents.
She lives in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
